Tree Guy Digital
Client onboarding
Step 1 of 6

Business details

These go on the sub-account and the A2P texting registration. Use the business's official details exactly as they appear on the EIN letter or state registration.

What customers know them as, if different
Physical address, no PO boxes

An address on the business domain is best

Authorized representative for A2P

Must be an owner or employee of the business, not Tree Guy.

Social profiles (optional, helps approval)

Step 2 of 6

Users

Everyone who should log in, see leads, reply to messages or manage the calendar. Each gets their own login. Add as many as you need.

Primary point of contact for setup

Step 3 of 6

Domain and DNS

We need the main website domain and where its DNS lives. We pick the funnel subdomain ourselves.

If someone else manages it
e.g. hello@theirdomain.com, on the business domain

Step 4 of 6

Phone number

Port the number they already use, get a new one, or both.

Porting the existing number

Porting moves the number from its current carrier to our platform. The carriers run that process, not us.

It usually takes 2 to 6 weeks and can take longer. It can be rejected and restarted if anything on the paperwork does not match the carrier records.

The number keeps working at the current carrier until the port completes, so nothing breaks. Texting through the CRM on that number cannot start until it lands.

We recommend getting a new number now so campaigns can start immediately, and porting in parallel.

Documents the client will need to provide:

  • A copy of the most recent phone bill (within the last 30 days) showing the number, account number and service address
  • The carrier account number and the account PIN or port-out passcode
  • A signed Letter of Authorization (we send it, the account holder signs it)
  • The service address exactly as the current carrier has it on file
  • The number must stay active and paid up, with no port-out lock, until the port completes

New number

Preferred area codes, in order *
Repeating digits, easy to say. Best effort only.

Call handling

Leave blank for our default
